We received the following email from Quinter, Kansas:

Dear Cow Camp Co,
On Oct. 25th my mom entered a Chili Contest in Quinter, Kansas and she won first place. She used this special seasoning called Southwestern Style Chili Mix that she gets from California. These friends sent my mom and dad this seasoning and wanted them to try it. My mom’s recipe is the best:

Kathy’s Mexican Chili

3 Cans of Mexican Stewed Tomatoes
2 Can of Pinto Beans
3 lbs. of Hamburger
1 Medium Onion
3-4 Tablespoons of Cow Camp Southwestern Style Seasonall
1 Can of Corn
Cow Camp Seasonall

Brown beef, onion, and Cow Camp Seasonall. Add tomatoes, pinto beans, and cow camp southwestern style seasonall. Simmer for 2 hours, add corn.
Serve on top of cornchips, top with cheese and sour cream. Enjoy!!
